About the Role:

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands
At Atos, we’re seeking an Azure Application Modernization Architect to help our clients navigate their digital transformation journeys. You’ll collaborate with clients to assess legacy applications and craft innovative modernization strategies using the latest Azure technologies. This is your chance to make a significant impact by driving the re-platforming and modernization of complex enterprise applications to the cloud, ensuring scalability and efficiency.

What You’ll Do:

• Collaborate with clients to evaluate their legacy applications and define a strategic path for modernization.
• Architect and design solutions using Azure App Services, AKS, Logic Apps, and API Management to create high-performance cloud-native applications.
• Support sales and presales teams by providing technical expertise during client discussions and responses to RFPs.
• Develop proof-of-concept (PoC) solutions to demonstrate the potential and capabilities of modernized applications.
• Ensure seamless integration of modernized applications with existing systems, delivering solutions that meet business needs.
• Provide guidance on re-platforming, refactoring, and rebuilding legacy applications to make them future-ready on Azure.
• Stay updated on the latest modernization frameworks and cloud-native development practices, ensuring your solutions are at the forefront of technology.

What We’re Looking For:

• 8+ years of experience in IT, with at least 4+ years in application modernization and Azure technologies.
• Proven experience with Azure cloud-native services and deep knowledge of DevOps practices.
• Hands-on expertise in containerization using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Relevant certifications such as DevOps Engineer Expert or Azure Solutions Architect Expert are a plus.
• Dutch language skills are preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to guide teams and influence key stakeholders.
