Your main tasks are:
- Support in preparation and review of Mercedes-Benz financial statements for divisions Cars and Financial Services in accordance with IFRS and Mercedes-Benz Group requirements
- Support in analyzing and monitoring the financial reporting of Mercedes-Benz subsidiaries and ensuring the Mercedes-Benz Group deadlines are met
- Support in documentation of processes and workflows
- Support in special projects (e.g. digital transformation/IFRS16 - Lease Accounting/IFRS 15)
- Preparation and follow-up work for meetings (agenda, minutes, etc.)
- Support the organization of meetings / workshops / trainings etc
- Support the accurate and timeliness of reporting/presentation
- Prepare and collate commentaries for variances analyses
- Support the contact person for auditors and for Group Accounting on topics related to our subsidiaries
Qualifikationen Ideally, you qualify for this job with:
- An enrolled student (Bachelor/Master) of Business Administration with focus on International Accounting or Auditing, Finance, Economics, or similar degree program
- Very good knowledge of MS-Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Proficiency in English is required, and Basic German skills is a plus
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills
- Structured, independent working and affinity for dealing with numbers
- A strong team player with excellent communication skills, a quick learner with analytical and conceptual skills, reliable and committed to providing high quality work
- Open-minded and agile culture supporter, customer-oriented and willing to work in an international and global environment
- Knowledge in BI Solutions (e.g., MS Power BI) is a plus
