The Role:
* Teaching English across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5
* Delivering engaging and inspiring English Language and Literature lessons
* Providing continuity and support for a Year 13 English class, therefore experience teaching at KS5 is essential
* Planning, preparing and assessing work in line with curriculum requirements
* Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students can succeed
The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Hold QTS (or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification)
* Have recent experience teaching English within a UK secondary school
* Demonstrate confidence teaching English up to KS5 level
* Be passionate about raising attainment and fostering a love of English
* Possess excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
* Hold (or be willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS on the update service
