Parkinson Gray Associates have been engaged as the Recruiting Agent to assist our client, a major national retail-focused contracting business, with their acquisition of an experienced Mechanical Project Manager.

This significant national contractor is based in West Yorkshire but operates throughout the UK. With an extensive list of large national retail clients, they collaborate directly with both end-users and main contractors to deliver their comprehensive portfolio of MEP retail projects.

As Mechanical Project Manager, you will join a team of fellow building services professionals to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to demanding quality standards. You will focus on a specific account, ensuring that the client’s needs are met in all aspects. You will oversee projects from inception to completion while fostering the long-term relationship the business has with its clients. Projects will vary from small-scale tasks that are numerous to major new build undertakings. Contracting for national retail clients is always a challenge in terms of timescale and pace. Projects will be plentiful, varied, and geographically dispersed, thus presenting a demanding role.

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager who possesses extensive experience in retail contracting. You should have a proven track record of profitable project delivery and be able to provide industry references at the appropriate time, of course. Travel will be a component of this role due to the nature of the work, and there may be occasions where unsociable hours are required.
