These schools are committed to providing high-quality education, fostering positive learning environments, and supporting students to achieve their full potential both academically and personally.
We are looking to recruit Cover Supervisors on both long-term and short-term contracts, with opportunities for permanent positions for the right candidates. As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise whole classes during teacher absences, deliver pre-set work, manage behaviour effectively, and support pupils' learning while contributing to the wider life of the school. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain valuable classroom experience within a variety of secondary school settings across the county.
The successful Cover Supervisor will have:
• Experience working with children or young people in an educational or similar setting
• GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent) with strong numeracy and literacy skills
• NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) or willingness to work towards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to manage behaviour positively and effectively
• A proactive, flexible and team-oriented approach with a commitment to safeguarding
