Technical Account Manager - Fresh Produce

We're working with a leading fresh produce business supplying major UK supermarkets and processing customers, who are looking for an experienced Technical Account Manager to join their team.

This is a customer-facing role where you'll own a key retail account, build strong relationships and make sure technical, quality and food safety standards are delivered across the supply chain.

What you'll be doing:

Managing key supermarket customer account
Leading customer meetings, reviews and technical plans
Managing specifications, portals, complaints and KPIs
Supporting NPD, artwork and product approvals
Driving quality improvement and reducing customer complaints
Supporting BRCGS, supplier, grower and ethical audits
Managing organic certification and customer audits
Working with suppliers, growers and international partners
Supporting pesticide, microbiological and food safety requirementsWhat we're looking for:

5+ years' technical experience within fresh produce
Strong supermarket/customer-facing experience
BRCGS and audit knowledge
HACCP & Food Safety Level 3
Experience with customer portals and specifications
Supplier/grower auditing experience
Strong communication and organisational skills
A proactive, commercial and can-do attitudeOrganic produce knowledge? Even better!
