Residential Support Worker
1Four1 Recruitment is recruiting for Residential Support Workers to join a small children’s home in Winkfield.
The role pays £13.50 to £15 per hour, plus £60 for each sleep-in. You will work 40 hours per week on a varied rota, supporting children and young people within a stable and caring home environment.
The role
You will provide practical and emotional support to children and young people with complex needs. Your focus will be building trusted relationships, maintaining clear boundaries and helping each child develop their confidence and independence.
What you’ll be doing
* Support children with daily routines, education and appointments.
* Follow individual care plans, behaviour plans and risk assessments.
* Plan activities that encourage development and independence.
* Maintain accurate daily records and incident reports.
* Help keep the home safe, clean and welcoming.
What we’re looking for
* Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or an equivalent qualification.
* Experience supporting children in residential care, education or a similar setting.
* Confidence managing challenging situations calmly and professionally.
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and sleep-in shifts.
* A clear understanding of safeguarding responsibilities.
A full UK driving licence is desirable but not essential.
An Enhanced DBS check is required. Sponsorship is not available, so you must already have the right to work in the UK.
