With small class sizes and a highly experienced staff team, the setting provides a supportive and structured environment where young people are encouraged to re-engage with education and achieve positive outcomes.

The school is looking to appoint a dedicated Teaching Assistant on a full-time, long-term temporary basis. The successful Teaching Assistant will support secondary-aged pupils, working closely with teaching staff to promote engagement, manage behaviour positively and help students overcome barriers to learning.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience working with secondary-aged pupils in a PRU, alternative provision or similar setting

• Strong behaviour management skills

• The ability to build positive and professional relationships with young people

• A calm, patient and resilient approach

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• A genuine commitment to supporting vulnerable learners
