About the Role
As a Care Home Support Worker Team Leader, you will take the lead in managing night-time activities in our residential and respite establishments. Your key responsibilities will include:
Safeguarding Residents: Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all residents, addressing any concerns promptly.
Medication Management: Assist in the administration and monitoring of medications.
Team Leadership: Supervise and develop a dedicated team, ensuring high standards of care and support plans are met.
Problem Solving: Address emergencies and challenges as they arise, fostering a safe environment for both staff and residents.
What We're Looking For:
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
Previous experience as a team leader in a care setting.
The ability to work nights and weekends.
A current moving and handling certificate.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
The capability to pass an enhanced DBS check.
Empathy, compassion, and a genuine desire to improve the lives of others.
A reliable means of transport to work during unsociable hours, especially when public transport may be limited.Key Qualifications and Skills:
Experience in a care home setting.
An in date moving and handling certificate.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance.
Ability to maintain accurate records and adhere to GDPR.
