The Role - SEN English Teacher
Seeking a dedicated and adaptable SEN English Teacher to teach pupils aged 11-19 within a specialist SEN setting. You will deliver engaging and differentiated English Language and Literature lessons tailored to meet a range of learning needs, including autism, severe learning difficulties, moderate learning difficulties and associated communication needs. The role involves adapting the curriculum to meet EHCP outcomes, developing pupils' literacy, communication and functional English skills, monitoring progress and creating a structured and supportive learning environment where every student can achieve their potential. You will work closely with teaching assistants, therapists and the wider multidisciplinary team to provide the highest standard of support.
