Job role:
We are looking for an experienced Sales Negotiator to join a small team that aims to exceed expectations of customers by effectively identifying and matching customer needs in a professional, responsive and effective manner. Maximising the margins generated from every customer opportunity using a combination of upselling, account management, new customer acquisition and cross selling.
Key responsibilities:
Handle sales calls to existing customer base with the specific aim of cross selling other products, matching customers current and potential future needs.
Researching, making contact and gaining new customers.
Acquiring new customers via referrals from the existing customer base.
Dealing with customers in a polite and friendly manner, maximising customer retention and exceeding customers expectation of service.
Identifying all correct customer needs and investigating future potential needs through effective accounts management.
Log and provide an effective response and resolution to customer enquiries and requests for information.
Ensure all complaints are handled in a polite and professional manner and are appropriately logged into the complaints system.
Ensure all calls comply in accordance to the company standard including data protection, domestic pricing and the company sales approach.
Recording all customer interactions in line with the company guidelines and standards.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the company's products and services.
Identifying gaps in knowledge and proactively seeking out resources to learn.
Using IT systems effectively to maximise efficiency.
Reporting to the sales manager.
Adhering to Health, Safety and environmental policy.Requirements:
Proven experience in Sales, account management or customer-facing roles.
A strong understanding of Excel and Outlook.
Attention to detail and highly motivated.
Ability to problem solve.Due to the requirements of the role candidates must have their own transport.
You will be working Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm
