Ongoing Temporary Position
Erith | £13.03 per hour | Monday to Friday | Rotating Shifts (6:00 AM-2:00 PM / 2:00 PM-10:00 PM)
Right Match Recruitment Group Limited is recruiting an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver for our client, a well-established food production company based in Erith. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business offering consistent weekday work, a supportive team environment, and the opportunity to progress to Flexi Forklift Truck training.
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck within a food production environment.
Load and unload vehicles.
Move stock, raw materials, and finished goods around the site.
Assist with general warehouse and production duties when required.
Carry out daily forklift safety checks and report any defects.
Follow all health, safety, food hygiene, and company procedures.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
Requirements
Minimum 1 year's experience operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck.
A valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence.
Previous warehouse or production experience (food production experience is desirable but not essential).
Flexibility to work rotating weekly shifts.
Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
Reliable, punctual, and committed to long-term work.
Shift Pattern
Weekly rotating shifts (Monday to Friday):
6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Applicants must be able to alternate between both shifts on a weekly basis.
What We Offer
£13.03 per hour, OT £ £ 19.55
Monday to Friday working pattern.
