The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

TeacherActive is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a supportive and inclusive primary school seeking a dedicated and resilient Instructor with experience supporting children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of children who require additional emotional and behavioural support to access learning successfully.
The successful candidate will work closely with pupils across the primary age range, delivering tailored learning activities, promoting positive behaviour strategies, and helping pupils develop the confidence and skills needed to thrive both academically and socially.
The Role
Deliver engaging and accessible learning activities to pupils requiring additional support.
Support children with SEMH needs to engage positively in education and classroom activities.
Build positive and trusting relationships with pupils to encourage emotional regulation and resilience.
Implement behaviour support strategies in line with school policies and individual support plans.
Work collaboratively with teachers, SEND staff, pastoral teams and parents to support pupil progress.
Foster a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Previous experience working with children with SEMH needs in a school, alternative provision or similar setting.
Experience managing challenging behaviour using positive behaviour management strategies.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
A calm, patient and resilient approach.
A passion for supporting vulnerable learners to achieve their potential.
Relevant qualifications or training in education, behaviour support or youth work would be advantageous but are not essential.
