Reporting to the Engineering Manager the role will be wonderfully diverse. You will be leading a small team of Maintenance Engineers, this will involve planning and delegating their workload, writing and maintaining the PPM / CMMS with a focus on improving reliability and site wide improvements, but still plenty of time to be hands on too!
With a huge amount of investment currently happening you will also be involved in project work with ongoing improvements happening throughout. There will also be an impetus towards Lean and CI / RCA, and long-term fixes.
As a close-knit site, the cultural fit is absolute key, therefore my client is looking for genuine team players who want to be part of the exciting journey that they are currently on!
Food / FMCG / or manufacturing experience is key, as is a proven background in this sector as an Engineering Supervisor / Team Leader / Senior Engineer with experience of leading multi-disciplined engineering teams. Of course, they will also consider current Maintenance Managers who are looking for a new challenge too.
