An outstanding independent SEN school in Berkhamsted is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Music Teacher to join their team from April until Christmas. The Role
Deliver engaging Music lessons across the school, including GCSE Music
Work with pupils with a variety of special educational needs
Follow existing schemes of work while bringing your own creativity and expertise
Work collaboratively with support staff and the wider teaching team
Create a positive, inclusive and inspiring learning environmentRequirements
Essential:
Prior experience teaching or covering GCSE Music
Strong subject knowledge and confidence delivering the secondary curriculum
Ability to adapt teaching for learners with diverse needsPreferred:
Experience working in a specialist or SEN setting
Understanding of SEMH, autism or complex needsOpen to:
Qualified Teachers (QTS / QTLS)
Unqualified Teachers with strong subject expertise and relevant experienceWhat the School Offers
