Reporting to the Contracts Director, you will take full responsibility for managing projects from pre-start through to completion, ensuring they are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the day-to-day delivery of commercial fit-out projects.
* Coordinate Site Managers, subcontractors and suppliers across multiple live projects.
* Develop and monitor construction programmes to ensure key milestones are achieved.
* Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with health and safety legislation and company procedures.
* Chair site progress meetings and maintain strong communication with clients, consultants and the project team.
* Monitor project costs, variations and procurement to ensure commercial objectives are achieved.
* Carry out regular quality inspections and ensure a high standard of workmanship throughout.
* Resolve technical and operational issues quickly to minimise programme delays.
* Manage project documentation, reporting and handover procedures.
* Build and maintain excellent client relationships, ensuring repeat business opportunities.
About You
* Previous experience as a Construction Manager, Contracts Manager or Project Manager within commercial fit-out.
* Proven track record delivering office, retail, CAT A/CAT B, refurbishment or commercial interior projects.
* Strong leadership and people management skills.
* Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving abilities.
* Commercially aware with experience managing programmes, budgets and subcontractors.
* Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and construction reporting systems.
