This is a rewarding role where you'll build positive relationships with tenants, promote successful tenancy sustainment and help create safe, welcoming environments where people can flourish. Working closely with internal teams and external agencies, you'll be a key point of contact for residents, helping them navigate housing-related challenges while encouraging independence and community integration.
What you’ll do
You'll provide an enhanced housing management service that supports residents to maintain their tenancies and enjoy stable, independent living. No two days are the same, but your role will include:
* Promoting independence through practical guidance, advice, and signposting to appropriate support services.
* Undertaking regular welfare visits, risk assessments, health and safety inspections, and property checks.
* Monitoring the safety, cleanliness, and overall environment of schemes, including contractor performance.
* Maintaining accurate records and ensuring safeguarding concerns are identified and reported appropriately.
What you’ll need
We're looking for someone who combines strong housing knowledge with a genuine commitment to supporting people to achieve positive outcomes. You’re a confident communicator who can build trust and positive relationships with residents and stakeholders. You’re organised and able to manage a varied workload while maintaining accurate records and flexible, proactive and able to respond effectively to changing resident needs. You’ll also have:
* Experience of working within housing, supported housing, enhanced housing management, or a related support environment.
* An understanding of the challenges faced by people experiencing mental ill health and the importance of person-centred services.
* Knowledge of tenancy sustainment, welfare benefits, safeguarding, and housing management practices.
* Experience of working with partner agencies and building effective professional relationships.
* Good IT skills and experience maintaining accurate electronic records.
* An understanding of health and safety responsibilities within a residential setting.
* Comfortable working independently and as part of a wider team.
