Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Laborer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various construction tasks and the ability to work collaboratively on-site. This role requires hands-on experience with tools and equipment, as well as a solid understanding of construction processes and safety protocols.
Duties
Assist in various construction projects, including but not limited to carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and masonry.
Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans.
Perform concrete forming, finishing, and restoration tasks.
Engage in hardscape projects, including tile laying and flooring installation.
Support the installation of cabinets, doors, and glass fixtures.
Execute plastering, stucco application, caulking, and trim carpentry as needed.
Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met while maintaining high-quality standards.
Conduct inspections of work areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Qualifications
Proven experience in construction or related fields is preferred.
Familiarity with Bluebeam software for project management is a plus.
Knowledge of construction management practices and estimating techniques is beneficial.
Experience in heavy equipment operation is an advantage.
Strong skills in blueprint reading and understanding of construction site protocols.
Proficiency in various trades such as welding, roofing, fabricating, and restoration work is highly desirable.
Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the workday.
