Contract Type: 8-month FTC | Maternity Cover
Hours: Monday-Friday - 9 am-5 pm - Fully office-based
Salary: Circa £37,000pa
An established business operating within the construction sector is seeking a proactive and organised Administrator to join their team in Kings Hill on an 8-month maternity cover contract.
This is a varied role supporting the smooth running of the office, with responsibilities across general administration, purchasing, data, quality systems and operational support.
Key Responsibilities
- General office administration, including answering calls and responding to emails
- Liaising with suppliers and ensuring office supplies and resources are maintained
- Assisting with quality systems and processes
- Updating the training system and associated records
- Maintaining data and supporting GDPR-related responsibilities
- Managing SharePoint, including uploading files and updating spreadsheets
- Ordering PPE and safety equipment
- Ordering site materials
- Updating the weekly programme of works
- Providing general administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the office
Candidate Profile
- Full UK driving licence and transport required
- Previous experience in a business support, office administration or similar role
- Experience within construction, civil engineering or other similar sectors
- Highly organised with good attention to detail
- Confident communicating by phone and email
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office, Excel and SharePoint
- Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Reliable, proactive and able to work as part of a wider team
