The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.
The Passenger Fleet Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, maintenance, and compliance of our passenger vehicle fleet. This role ensures that all transport services are executed safely, efficiently, and on schedule, while maximizing vehicle uptime and maintaining exceptional standards of passenger service. The ideal candidate balances strong leadership skills with mechanical awareness and sharp analytical thinking to optimize route efficiency and manage a team of drivers.
Key Responsibilities
1. Fleet Operations & Scheduling

Oversee daily dispatch and routing for all passenger vehicles to ensure timely arrivals and optimal fuel efficiency.

Monitor real-time fleet tracking systems (GPS/telematics) to respond proactively to traffic delays, mechanical breakdowns, or emergencies.

Coordinate vehicle assignments based on passenger volume, specialized transport needs, and driver availability.
2. Driver Management & Training

Supervise, mentor, and evaluate a team of passenger drivers, establishing clear performance expectations.

Conduct onboarding and regular refresher training on safe driving techniques, customer service excellence, and emergency protocols.
*
Manage driver schedules, hours of service (HOS), and leave requests to ensure adequate daily staffing.
3. Maintenance & Asset Management

Develop and implement a rigorous preventative maintenance schedule for all passenger vehicles (buses, vans, shuttles, cars).

Coordinate with internal mechanics or third-party service centres for prompt vehicle repairs, minimizing downtime.

Conduct routine inspections to ensure vehicles are clean, well-stocked with safety equipment (first aid kits, fire extinguishers), and mechanically sound.
4. Compliance & Safety

Ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal transportation regulations (e.g., DOT, OSHA, and commercial licensing requirements).

Maintain accurate records of vehicle registrations, insurance policies, emissions testing, and driver qualification files.

Lead accident investigations, complete detailed incident reports, and implement corrective actions to mitigate future risks.
5. Budgeting & Reporting

Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as fuel consumption, maintenance costs per mile, and on-time performance.
