Jobs in Twemlow Green

Looking for a role where you can actually make a difference rather than simply maintain what's already there?

I'm recruiting for a Health & Safety Lead to join a market-leading manufacturer at their Middlewich site. This is a hands-on role supporting a small, high-quality production operation where you'll have the opportunity to build relationships, influence change and genuinely shape the future direction of Health & Safety on site.

Reporting into an experienced Group H&S Director who started their own career on the shop floor and progressed through the business over the last 25 years, you'll be joining an organisation that values development, listens to its people and promotes from within.

This isn't a tick-box compliance role.

The business is looking for someone who can hit the ground running, get to know the workforce, understand the operation and work collaboratively to improve systems, processes and culture. You'll have the autonomy to manage your own diary, review existing management systems and implement improvements where you see opportunities.

For the right person, this offers the chance to create a real legacy rather than simply inherit one.

Why this role stands out:

🔹 Genuine autonomy and ownership

🔹 Direct support from an experienced Group H&S Director

🔹 Opportunity to shape systems and processes

🔹 Collaborative, people-focused culture

🔹 Stable, successful manufacturing business

🔹 Clear long-term investment in employees

🔹 Salary progression as your contribution and tenure grow

What they're looking for:

🔸 Manufacturing Health & Safety experience

🔸 NEBOSH General Certificate

🔸 Confident communicator who can engage at all levels

🔸 Hands-on approach and visible leadership style

🔸 Someone who enjoys building relationships and driving improvement

This would suit somebody currently feeling restricted by a stale, heavily compliance-driven environment and looking for a fresh challenge where their ideas, experience and leadership can genuinely influence the direction of the site.

Salary: From £45,000 with annual progression opportunities.
