A well-established legal practice is looking for a Commercial Property Paralegal to join its Skipton office, supporting fee earners across both Commercial Property and Corporate Commercial work.
The role is fully office based, working Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, with an hour for lunch. Please note there is no parking available at the office.
You will work alongside fee earners across both disciplines, providing hands-on support with a range of transactional and administrative work. There is also a planned handover and training period as two existing assistants move into other positions within the business.
Key responsibilities:
* Supporting fee earners with Commercial Property and Corporate Commercial matters
* Preparing contracts, leases, transfer deeds, completion statements and other transactional documentation
* Undertaking searches, Land Registry applications, Companies House filings and other matter-related processes
* Preparing Stamp Duty forms, accounts documentation and responding to routine client enquiries
* Managing matter administration, key dates, compliance information, file updates and virtual data rooms
The ideal candidate:
* Previous paralegal or legal support experience, with no graduates considered for this position
* Commercial Property experience is essential, ideally alongside experience of Corporate Commercial work
* Strong attention to detail with good organisational and time management skills
* Confident using Microsoft Word and Excel, with good general IT skills
* Professional, adaptable and able to work effectively with fee earners and clients
This is a varied opportunity for an experienced legal support professional who is looking to develop their experience across Commercial Property and Corporate Commercial work. Full training and a handover will be provided as the current assistants move into new positions.
