Smile Education is recruiting a committed and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant (SEND) to join a welcoming primary school in Stockton-on-Tees.
This is an excellent opportunity to support children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in a nurturing and inclusive learning environment. You will work closely with teachers and the SEND team to help pupils achieve their full potential both academically and socially.

Daily rate of £95–£110, depending on experience

Holds a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
Has recent UK experience working within a primary school
Has experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
Has a good understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and the graduated approach to SEND provision
Can deliver planned learning activities and adapt support to meet individual pupil needs
Works effectively as part of a team while also using their own initiative
Builds positive relationships with pupils, parents, colleagues and the wider school community
Is patient, organised, professional and committed to helping every child succeed
Holds an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or is willing to apply for oneWhy work with Smile Education?
