Day Shift Maintenance Technician

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
* Operational Continuity: Execute comprehensive planned and reactive maintenance strategies across complex plant assets and multi-site facilities.
* Technical Diagnosis: Utilise schematics and data reports to identify root causes of equipment failure, implementing robust solutions to minimise downtime.
* Systems Optimisation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to recommend design modifications and refine operating procedures for enhanced machine reliability.
* Safety & Compliance: Manage service schedules and material procurement while upholding the highest standards of site-wide safety protocols.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES
* Technical Foundations: Formally qualified (ONC/HNC level) in a relevant Engineering discipline, with a strong electrical bias and supporting mechanical knowledge.
* Industrial Expertise: Proven background in high-output, lean manufacturing environments, including experience with fluid power systems (hydraulics/pneumatics).
* Tooling Proficiency: Competency in operating conventional workshop machinery and a comfortable approach to working at height.
* Project Delivery: A proactive professional capable of managing deadlines and coordinating resources independently under pressure.
* Attributes: A solution-focused "can-do" attitude with a deep commitment to Quality and Health & Safety.
DETAILS OF PACKAGE
Circa £38,0000 + Bonus (circa £40,000 inc. bonus) + Benefits / Day Shift: 38 Hour week. Monday to Thursday 8.00am – 4.00pm / Friday 8.00am – 2.00pm / 25 days Paid holiday + Bank Holidays
