The Role
You'll be working as part of a close-knit machining team on a straightforward day shift pattern, operating and setting CNC machinery to produce high-precision components to tight tolerances. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in their work and is looking for a stable, long-term position within a quality-focused engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Programming, setting, editing, operating and monitoring CNC machinery
* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications
* Carrying out in-process quality checks to ensure components meet required tolerances
* Identifying and resolving machining issues as they arise
* Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area
* Contributing to a culture of quality and continuous improvement
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience as a CNC Machinist in a precision engineering or manufacturing environment
* Ability to program, set, edit and operate CNC machines with confidence
* Competent in reading engineering drawings and using precision measuring equipment
* A reliable, conscientious approach with high personal standards
* Good communication skills and a positive team attitude
