The Role:
As a Senior Planner within the Sustainability team, you will support the delivery of Gatwick's sustainability and decarbonisation programme across a portfolio of major capital projects. Working on schemes typically valued at £20m+, you will develop and manage project schedules that support carbon reduction, energy efficiency, and infrastructure improvement initiatives.
Projects may include boiler and chiller replacement programmes, mechanical and electrical upgrades, high-voltage infrastructure works, electric vehicle charging infrastructure, renewable energy projects, and water management schemes focused on recycling and reducing consumption.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain integrated project schedules using Primavera P6.
Support the delivery of sustainability, energy, and decarbonisation projects.
Monitor programme performance, critical paths, risks, and recovery plans.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders.
Support projects involving M&E asset replacement, energy infrastructure, water recycling, and EV charging networks.
Provide planning expertise and promote best practice across the programme team. What We're Looking For:
Proven experience as a Senior Planner on projects valued at £20m+.
Strong Primavera P6 and MS Office skills.
Experience within infrastructure, utilities, energy, sustainability, M&E, or capital project environments.
Ability to manage complex programmes with multiple stakeholders.
Knowledge of decarbonisation, energy efficiency, utilities, or asset replacement projects is highly desirable. What's in It for You?
