The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Lambeth Council is seeking an experienced Senior Social Worker to join Child Assessment Team 2. This is a frontline statutory role focused on safeguarding children, completing high-quality assessments, and delivering effective interventions for children and families.
The successful candidate will manage a complex caseload within a fast-paced assessment service, working closely with multi-agency partners to ensure children receive timely and effective support.
Working Pattern:
2 days per week in the office
Hybrid working arrangement
In this role, you will:
Manage a complex caseload of children and families
Undertake Child and Family Assessments
Complete Section 17 and Section 47 enquiries
Lead Child Protection investigations and safeguarding interventions
Prepare reports and applications for court proceedings
Develop and review Child in Need, Child Protection, and Looked After Children plans
Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to safeguard children
Maintain accurate and high-quality case recordings
Attend and contribute to conferences, reviews, panels, and legal meetings
Promote relationship-based and evidence-informed practice
What You’ll Need:
Social Work England Registration
Social Work Qualification
At least 3 years’ post-qualified experience in children’s social care
Recent experience within an Assessment Team
Strong safeguarding, court work, and assessment experience
Confidence managing complex and high-risk cases
Excellent assessment, analytical, and communication skills
