The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Lambeth Council is seeking an experienced Team Manager to join their Children’s Services. This is a leadership role focused on delivering high-quality social work practice, safeguarding children, and supporting frontline teams within a fast-paced statutory environment.
The successful candidate will manage the day-to-day operational running of the team, ensuring children receive effective and timely interventions while maintaining high practice standards across the service.
Working Pattern:
5 days in the office every other week
Hybrid working arrangement
In this role, you will:
Lead and manage a team of Social Workers within Children’s Services
Oversee safeguarding practice and ensure statutory responsibilities are met
Allocate and monitor workloads to ensure effective service delivery
Provide regular reflective supervision and performance management
Support staff development, mentoring, and professional practice
Chair meetings including strategy discussions, reviews, and planning meetings
Monitor practice quality through audits, oversight, and performance reporting
Ensure accurate recording and compliance on Mosaic systems
Work collaboratively with partner agencies including Health, Education, Police, and Housing
Contribute to service development and implementation of new initiatives
What You’ll Need:
Social Work England Registration
Recognised Social Work Qualification
Significant post-qualified experience within frontline children’s social care
Previous management or supervisory experience within Children’s Services
Strong safeguarding, child protection, and court work experience
Excellent leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills
Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and statutory guidance
