ROLE SUMMARY
The Project Administrator / Document Controller will provide administrative support across project, operational and compliance activities. The role will be responsible for maintaining project documentation, document control processes, training records and company compliance documentation, while supporting Project Managers and Directors with the day-to-day administration of projects.
This is a varied role suited to an organised individual with strong administrative skills, excellent attention to detail and experience managing documentation within an engineering, manufacturing or technical environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Administration
Provide administrative support to Project Managers and Directors.
Assist with the preparation of tenders, quotations and project documentation.
Act as a central point of contact for project enquiries and administration.
Coordinate project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Produce reports, meeting minutes and spreadsheets as required.
Maintain accurate project records and filing systems.Document Control & Compliance
Manage document control processes and ensure documentation is issued, tracked and archived correctly.
Maintain electronic and hard-copy project files.
Support internal and external audit preparation.
Assist with maintaining ISO and compliance documentation.
Track corrective actions and document revisions.
Maintain employee training matrices and certification records.
Support HSE administration activities, including PPE, training and compliance records.Systems & Administration
Process and maintain records using Sage 50 Professional.
Ensure accurate filing of documentation on company systems.
Support general office and operational administration.
Carry out any other duties reasonably required by the business.PERSON SPECIFICATION
Essential
Previous experience in a Project Administrator, Document Controller or Operations Administration role.
Strong document control and organisational skills.
Experience using Sage 50 Professional.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Strong communication and administrative skills.Desirable
Experience within engineering, manufacturing, energy or industrial sectors.
Experience supporting audits, ISO systems or compliance activities.
Familiarity with SharePoint and Adobe Acrobat.
Knowledge of training matrix administration and HSE documentation.Experience
2+ years' experience in project administration and/or document control.
Experience working within a fast-paced project environment

£32000.00 - £40000.00 per year
