The Role
The successful ICT Teacher will:
Deliver engaging and inspiring ICT lessons across KS3 and GCSE.
Motivate students to develop their understanding of digital technologies, computing and online safety.
Plan, prepare and assess high-quality lessons that support excellent student progress.
Differentiate learning to meet the needs of pupils of varying abilities.
Monitor achievement and provide effective interventions where required.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and achievement.
Maintain high standards of behaviour, learning and student engagement.
Contribute positively to the wider life of the department and school community.
Encourage students to explore future pathways in technology, computing and digital careers.
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Has experience teaching ICT within a secondary school setting.
Demonstrates strong subject knowledge across KS3 and GCSE ICT.
Possesses excellent classroom management and relationship-building skills.
Can inspire, challenge and motivate students to achieve their potential.
Has strong organisational, communication and assessment skills.
Is committed to raising standards and improving outcomes for young people.
