Are you an experienced Order Processing, Customer Fulfilment or Logistics professional looking for a role where you can take ownership and make a real impact?
We are recruiting for an Order Processing & Logistics Lead to oversee the end-to-end order fulfilment process, ensuring customer orders are processed accurately, dispatched on time and supported by efficient operational and logistics processes.
This is a hands-on role working closely with customer service, warehouse and finance teams, whilst supporting a small team and driving continuous improvement across the function.
Please note: This is not a Warehouse Manager or traditional Logistics Manager position. We are specifically looking for someone with experience in order processing, customer fulfilment, dispatch coordination and logistics administration. Whilst you will work closely with warehouse and logistics operations, the focus of this role is managing the order-to-dispatch process, customer orders, shipping documentation and operational coordination rather than managing a warehouse operation or transport fleet.
Key Responsibilities
Manage incoming customer orders through internal systems and shared inboxes
Ensure all order information is accurate, complete and processed in a timely manner
Coordinate the order-to-dispatch process across e-commerce, trade and third-party customers
Prepare picking documentation, labels and dispatch paperwork
Liaise with warehouse, customer service and finance teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment
Support shipping activities and courier bookings
Assist with export and import documentation requirements
Monitor fulfilment and transport costs
Act as the escalation point for customer queries and order-related issues
Support the development and improvement of logistics, dispatch and order processing processes
Provide day-to-day leadership and support to a direct report
Maintain accurate records and ensure company procedures are consistently followed
About You
Previous experience within order processing, customer fulfilment, logistics coordination, dispatch administration or supply chain operations
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
Experience managing customer orders from receipt through to delivery
Knowledge of shipping, logistics and distribution processes
Import/export documentation experience would be highly advantageous
Experience supporting, mentoring or supervising team members
Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across multiple departments
Proactive approach with a continuous improvement mindset
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
