The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.
Base Pay Rate: £14.55 / hour
Shift Allowance: Base rate + 40% shift allowance
AWD/AWR Salary Equivalent: £28,372
Average Hours per Week: 42.00 hours
Shift Pattern: 24/7 Shift with 12-hour day and night shifts (07:00 to 19:00 / 19:00 to 07:00)Week 1: 2 shifts (Wednesday & Thursday)
Manufacturing & Compounding: Set up and operate bulk manufacturing skids, small/large scale compounding systems, and bespoke vessel systems according to SOPs and batch manufacturing records.
Cleanroom Operations: Operate within Grade C/D cleanroom environments, including airlocks, autoclaves, and automated cleaning systems.
Sterilisation & Testing: Prepare, test, and set up modules for Clean In Place (CIP), Steam In Place (SIP), Filter Integrity testing, Pressure Tests, Autoclaving, and cleanroom cleaning using HMI controlled systems.
Compliance & Quality: Maintain "Right First Time" documentation in accordance with cGMP standards; communicate non-conformance issues to supervisors/QA.
Maintenance & Operations: Support equipment start-up, changeovers, basic equipment maintenance, and project validation work for new product introduction.
Access Level: Acquire and maintain a Bronze license Badge access.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education:
Maths GCSE (Grade C or above) or basic numeracy evidence (Essential)
English GCSE (Grade C or above) or basic literacy evidence (Essential)
Technical Skills: Basic IT skills (MS Office and Internet).
Experience: Previous manufacturing environment experience is desirable.
Soft Skills: Attention to detail, ability to follow verbal/written instructions, strong focus on repetitive tasks, methodical approach, patient-first quality mindset, physical fitness, and dexterity.

Interview Format: Stage 1 Onsite interview consisting of questions and a competency Maths test.
Background Check: Standard.
