About the Role
We are currently recruiting for experienced Electrical Technicians on behalf of our client operating in the Oil & Gas sector.
This is a fantastic opportunity for skilled Electrical Technicians looking for a secure, long-term temporary contract. You will play a key role in assembling, wiring, and testing specialised control panels engineered for high-spec energy and industrial applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Point-to-point wiring, assembly, and integration of control panels to exact client specs and safety standards.
Interpret electrical schematics, engineering drawings, and layout diagrams accurately.
Fit relays, PLCs, terminal blocks, circuit breakers, and associated hardware.
Carry out initial electrical inspections, continuity checks, and fault-finding prior to testing.
Ensure all work adheres strictly to Oil & Gas industry compliance, safety regulations, and quality controls.
What We Are Looking For:
Proven experience as an Electrical Technician with a strong background in control panel building.
Previous experience within Oil & Gas, subsea or heavy engineering is desirable.
Relevant recognised electrical qualification, NVQ or City and Guilds with working experience.
Initially working on a dayshift pattern, but must be willing and flexible to transition onto a day/night shift rotation as project demands increase.
