We are seeking reliable and hardworking individuals to join our manufacturing team. This role involves working in a fast paced production environment where attention to detail, safety, and teamwork are essential.
Job title: Production Operative
Job type: Temporary - Ongoing
Location: Morpeth
Pay rate: £14.54/hour
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday 6am - 2pm / 2pm - 10pm
Sunday to Thursday 10pm - 6am
(Rotating days and nights, must be flexible with the shifts)
Responsibilities:
Operate machinery and equipment according to our safety and quality standards
Monitor production output and report any faults or anomalies
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work area
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and adhere to all health and safety regulations
Work collaboratively with team to help achieve targets
Follow all quality requirements as required escalating any non-conformances
All aspects described will be trained and qualified.
Requirements:
Previous experience in manufacturing / production environment preferred
Must have own transport due to shift patterns
Ability to work on your feet for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions
Willingness to work flexible hours
Good understanding of health and safety practices in a manufacturing environment
