SANZA Teaching Agency is supporting a Primary Teacher to join a well-regarded independent school on a part-time, long-term basis.

This is a classroom-based teaching role within a high-achieving school environment, focused on delivering engaging lessons and maintaining high academic standards across the primary curriculum.

This role is well suited to an experienced primary teacher or a confident ECT, and offers an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive, well-resourced setting. The school is easily accessible from Balham, Battersea, Wandsworth, Brixton, Streatham, Stockwell and Putney, making it ideal for candidates across South West London.

The Role

Part-time position - can flexible for the right applicant

PPA cover, delivering high-quality lessons across KS2

Creating a positive, inclusive and structured classroom environment

Assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching to meet individual needs

Working collaboratively with support staff and senior leaders

Encouraging pupil confidence, engagement and academic achievement

Maintaining strong behaviour management and safeguarding standards

Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or overseas equivalent - pending other experience

Ideally experience teaching in UK primary schools (independent or maintained)

Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum

Confident classroom management and clear communication skills

Professional, organised and reliable approach

Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection

Able to commute easily
