We are seeking a proactive Production Supervisor to support improvements across processes, output and product quality. This is a working supervisor position, so you will lead the team while also carrying out production duties as needed.
Key Responsibilities
* Set up work areas and allocate tasks to operators.
* Ensure staff follow assembly processes and understand their duties.
* Train operators in safe and efficient work methods.
* Oversee product assembly and packing to meet quality standards.
* Maintain excellent housekeeping across production areas.
* Use the CIMPAC system confidently, including daily stock corrections and stock requests.
* Monitor staff performance and provide feedback to management.
* Recommend improvements to systems and procedures.
* Conduct Return to Work interviews.
* Carry out production operative duties when required.
* Perform other tasks as directed by management.
Health & Safety
Responsible for personal and general factory safety in line with company policies.
Skills & Experience
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Good communication and ability to prioritise.
* Hand–eye coordination and understanding of quality standards.
* Knowledge of parts/products, CIMPAC and Microsoft Office.
* Experience as a general operator and previous supervisory experience
Salary description
£35000.00 - £38000.00 per year
