How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

About the Company

We are partnering with a well-established, multi-service accountancy and professional services group with a strong regional presence across Yorkshire and Derbyshire and a growing Corporate Finance offering.

With over 220 employees across 11 offices, the organisation provides a comprehensive range of services including accountancy, financial services, wills and probate, commercial finance, residential mortgages and corporate finance.

The business has a strong people-focused culture built around collaboration, client service and doing the right thing for its people, clients and communities. With continued growth across its service lines, this is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation where individual contribution is visible and there is genuine opportunity to shape the future direction of the business.

You will work closely with business owners and management teams, often supporting clients through significant and sometimes once-in-a-lifetime transactions. Alongside transaction execution, you will contribute to business development, relationship management and the continued growth of the Corporate Finance team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious corporate finance professional who wants to combine hands-on deal execution with client relationship management, business development and team leadership within a growing professional services environment.

Liaise with external advisers and internal colleagues across tax, wealth management, restructuring and other service lines
Support clients through negotiations and act as a trusted adviser throughout the transaction lifecycle
Identify opportunities to introduce complementary services across the wider organisation
Develop relationships with accountants, lawyers, wealth managers and other professional intermediaries
Support Partners and Directors with business development, pitches, proposals and new client opportunities
Develop and maintain a personal network within the regional SME business community
Manage, coach and develop Executives and Analysts within the Corporate Finance team
Contribute to the continued development and growth of the Corporate Finance offering

About You
