We are partnering with a well-established, multi-service accountancy and professional services group with a strong regional presence across Yorkshire and Derbyshire and a growing Corporate Finance offering.

The Role
As a Corporate Finance Manager, you will play a key role in the delivery and execution of corporate finance transactions and advisory engagements across the SME and lower mid-market.
Working with businesses typically ranging from £1m to £50m in enterprise value, you will take day-to-day responsibility for transactions including business sales and disposals, MBOs and MBIs, acquisitions, fundraising and shareholder exits.
You will work closely with business owners and management teams, often supporting clients through significant and sometimes once-in-a-lifetime transactions. Alongside transaction execution, you will contribute to business development, relationship management and the continued growth of the Corporate Finance team.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the day-to-day delivery of a portfolio of SME and lower mid-market corporate finance transactions
Manage transactions including business sales, acquisitions, MBOs, MBIs, fundraising and shareholder exits
Project manage deal teams, transaction timetables and key workstreams
Build strong relationships with business owners, management teams and senior stakeholders
Prepare and review financial models, valuations and transaction analysis
Draft and review Information Memoranda, management presentations, Heads of Terms and other transaction documentation
Coordinate financial, commercial, tax and legal due diligence processes
Liaise with external advisers and internal colleagues across tax, wealth management, restructuring and other service lines
Support clients through negotiations and act as a trusted adviser throughout the transaction lifecycle
Identify opportunities to introduce complementary services across the wider organisation
Develop relationships with accountants, lawyers, wealth managers and other professional intermediaries
Support Partners and Directors with business development, pitches, proposals and new client opportunities
Develop and maintain a personal network within the regional SME business community
Manage, coach and develop Executives and Analysts within the Corporate Finance team
Contribute to the continued development and growth of the Corporate Finance offering
About You
ACA or ACCA qualified, or equivalent professional qualification
Minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience within corporate finance, transaction services or a related advisory environment
Proven experience of executing and completing SME or lower mid-market transactions
Experience across transactions such as business sales, acquisitions, MBOs, MBIs or fundraising
Strong financial modelling and valuation skills
Good understanding of accounting principles and their application within transactions
Experience working with owner-managed, entrepreneurial or family-owned businesses
Strong commercial awareness with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Proven ability to manage multiple transactions and competing deadlines
Experience supervising, mentoring or developing junior team members
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Commercially minded with the confidence to develop relationships and identify new business opportunities
Proactive, self-motivated and comfortable working autonomously
Collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively across multiple service lines
Willingness to travel to clients and other offices as required
