Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4 (GCSE)
* Differentiate learning to meet the needs of students with autism, SEMH, and complex learning needs
* Create a structured, calm, and supportive classroom environment
* Use effective behaviour management strategies to support engagement and progress
* Assess, track, and report on student progress in line with EHCP targets and individual learning plans
* Work closely with support staff, SENCO, and wider school teams to deliver tailored provision
* Contribute to EHCP reviews, planning meetings, and wider school processes
* Promote safeguarding, wellbeing, and inclusion at all times
* Act as an effective Maths Teacher, ensuring all students are supported to make meaningful progress
* Develop and adapt resources to enhance the delivery of the Maths curriculum
Person Specification
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) essential
* Experience working as a Maths Teacher at KS3 and KS4 (GCSE)
* Experience working within SEN, autism, or complex needs settings (desirable)
* Strong classroom management and relationship-building skills
* Patient, adaptable, and committed to inclusive education
* Passionate about delivering high-quality teaching as a Maths Teacher
