The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.
SALARY : £15- £16 ph plus holiday pay. The equivalent of £31,200 - £33,280
THE ROLE : The role for a Maintenance Operative with our client is for a 3 month period. The standard working week is Mon - Fri - 40 hours , some overtime may be available
DUTIES :
Planned maintenance of operational machinery (PPM’s).
Upkeep of critical spares stocks.
When required take part in engineering projects and commission new equipment.
Upkeep of planned maintenance schedules.
Liaise with external contractors where required (electricians, plumbers etc).
Maintenance procedures and documentation are accurate and up-to-date.
Plant logs up to date and maintained.
Assist in preparing site when required for external and regulatory audits.
Support and maintain site equipment.
General site maintenance.
Ensure H&S compliance is maintained at all times and is the No 1 priority.
Ensure H&S risks are escalated at once.
Any unsafe practices are to be identified, managed and reported utilising business H&S management systems. (Risk Alerts, Near Miss etc.).
YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING :
H&S/Food safety systems and legislation. Including Machinery Guarding (IOSH).
A good level of computer skills in Word, Excel, etc. is required.
Basic Building and Facility maintenance.
