The Role
We are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join the team. This is a fast-paced and varied position where priorities may change and no two days are the same. You will work closely with the Management Accountant and two Accounts Assistants and report directly to the Management Accountant.

Key Responsibilities
* Monthly Journals
* Retention Reconciliations
* Processing supplier invoices
* Using Xero accounting software
* Matching invoices with purchase orders
* Supplier statement reconciliations
* Preparing supplier payments
* Handling supplier queries
* Maintaining accurate financial records
* Assisting with month-end processes
* Providing general finance support
* Managing Appointments
* Ad hoc Payroll duties
* Monthly Journals
* General administrative duties
About You
* Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
* Can demonstrate experience of working in a very fast paced environment
* Experience in accounting and general bookkeeping
* Ability to multitask
* Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
* AAT, ACCA qualified or qualification in book keeping or currently studying towards
* Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Excel
* Professional and confident telephone manner
* Ambitious, career driven
* Confident with Xero software, month end reporting and reconciliations
What’s on Offer
* Salary between £30,000 – £35,000
* Flexible working hours (standard hours are 8:00am – 4:30pm, with flexibility for earlier or later start/finish times)
