Due to continued growth, they are currently recruiting a Day Shift (Mon-Fri) Turner Programmer Setter Operator. The ideal candidate will be an experienced CNC Turner, able to read and programme in Fanuc. Experience of using Twin-Spindle or Twin-Head machines will be an advantage
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
* CNC Turning / Machine Programming / Setting and Operating
* Programming primarily using Fanuc
* Manufacturing components to tight tolerances
* Operating Twin-Spindle or Twin-Head Machines
* Setting and operating 5 axis machines
* Using Live Tooling for Milled features
* Maintain and managing own supply of consumables
* Interpreting and working to Engineering drawings
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES
ESSENTIAL
* Time served apprenticeship in CNC Turning
* Demonstrable post apprenticeship experience in a similar CNC turning and Programming / Setting and Operating role
* Experience programming and setting twin spindle lathes
* Ability to read and program using Fanuc
* Able to interpret engineering drawings
DESIRABLE NOT ESSENTIAL
* Able to use FeatureCam software / HNC, HND or similar / Experience setting and operating 5-axis machines / Ability to program and set Twin-Spindle or Twin-Head Machines / Experience using live tooling for milled features

37 Hour week / Day Shift: (Apply online only) Monday to Thursday, (Apply online only) Friday / £39,500 PA + Overtime + Competitive benefits, inc. 30 Days paid Holidays + Bank Holidays
