The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.
We are working as the internal recruitment partner for our client, a global aerospace organisation supporting safe, compliant, and high‑performing supply chains.
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Supplier Quality Engineer to join the Quality function, supporting supplier performance and driving quality improvements across a global supply base.
Reporting into the Group Head of Quality, this role is heavily supplier‑facing, with approximately 75% travel across the UK, Europe, USA, and India. Initially, you will spend 3-6 months onsite to gain a thorough understanding of the business and its processes before transitioning into the travel‑focused nature of the role.
Working closely with Procurement and internal stakeholders, you will conduct supplier audits, manage supplier quality performance, support corrective actions, and help build strong quality communication with vendors to reduce risk and improve overall performance.
Who we are looking for:
Experience in supplier quality, manufacturing quality, or aerospace quality
Strong knowledge of AS9100 / AS9120 or similar quality standards
Experience conducting supplier audits and managing CAPA activity
Willingness and enthusiasm to travel extensively as part of the role
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong supplier relationships
Strong analytical skills, with experience using Excel and Power BI for supplier metrics
