The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Solicitor with 2+ years' PQE who is passionate about Private Client work and looking to join a supportive, collaborative team where they can continue to develop their expertise and progress their career.
The successful candidate will manage a varied Private Client caseload, working closely with individuals, trustees and executors and providing high-quality, practical advice across a broad range of matters.
The role will include:
Advising clients on Wills, Powers of Attorney and lifetime planning
Drafting Wills and Powers of Attorney
Providing succession planning and asset protection advice
Advising on tax mitigation matters
Handling the administration of executry and trust estates
Managing your own caseload while maintaining a high standard of client care
Building strong, long-term relationships with clients
Working collaboratively with colleagues and supporting less experienced members of the team where appropriate
What we're looking for:
Applicants must be qualified in Scots Law and have previous experience working within Private Client.
Ideally, you will have 2+ years' PQE, alongside:
Strong Private Client experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Confidence managing your own workload and caseload
A personable and client-focused approach
A genuine interest in developing your Private Client career
A collaborative approach and willingness to share knowledge across the team
