Key Responsibilities
Curriculum Delivery: Teach Mathematics across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (GCSE). The ability to teach A-Level Mathematics or Further Maths is highly desirable.
Engagement: Foster a love for the subject through creative lesson planning and real-world applications of mathematical concepts.
ECT Support: For Early Career Teachers, we provide a structured mentoring programme and reduced timetable to support your professional growth.
Departmental Contribution: Participate in extracurricular math clinics, UKMT challenges, and STEM initiatives.
Requirements (Essential)
Qualifications: QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent, with a strong degree in Mathematics or a highly numerate discipline.
Candidate Profile: Open to experienced teachers and ECTs looking to start their career in the independent sector.
Safeguarding: A valid Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one) is mandatory.
Location: Based in or able to commute to Blackburn, Lancashire.
