Key Responsibilities
Curriculum Delivery: Teach Business Studies across Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 (A-Level / BTEC).
Academic Excellence: Plan and deliver engaging lessons that challenge students and promote critical thinking.
Student Growth: Track and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and intervention where necessary.
Extracurricular Engagement: Contribute to the wider life of the school and support the development of enterprise initiatives and competitions.
Requirements (Essential)
Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a degree in Business or a related field.
Experience: Proven track record of delivering Business Studies, ideally with experience in an independent or high-achieving school setting.
Safeguarding: A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. A valid Enhanced DBS check will be required.
Commute: Based in or able to commute to Blackburn, Lancashire.
