As DMS continues to grow, so does the number of customers, partners, opportunities, meetings and projects competing for time. We're looking for someone who can become a trusted right hand to the Director – someone who's always thinking two steps ahead.
The objective is simple: help maximise the Director's time so more of it can be spent with customers, developing key relationships, progressing opportunities and growing the business.
You'll sit at the centre of a lot of what's happening commercially at DMS, working with our Directors, sales team, customers, partners and suppliers.
What you'll be doing

Managing a busy and constantly changing diary
*
Acting as a gatekeeper for the Director's time and helping protect time for the highest-priority activity
*
Managing and prioritising the Director's inbox and communications
*
Developing an understanding of what's important and what genuinely requires the Director's attention
*
Establishing and managing effective workflows around meetings, actions, communications and reporting
*
Making sure the Director is properly briefed and prepared for important meetings
*
Attending selected customer, partner, supplier and internal meetings
*
Capturing key discussions, decisions and actions
*
Following through on actions and keeping things moving
*
Liaising with technology partners and suppliers on the Director's behalf
*
Working with the sales team to collate pipeline, forecasts and other commercial information
*
Supporting management and Board reporting
*
Organising travel, hotels, hospitality, events and itineraries
*
Coordinating customer and partner meetings and events
*
Working with other DMS Directors when required
*
Occasionally travelling to important meetings and events alongside the Director
The person we're looking for
You'll be naturally organised, confident and proactive, with the judgement to understand priorities and the personality to build relationships across the business.
We're looking for someone who doesn't just manage a diary – you manage what reaches it.
Someone who doesn't just take meeting notes – you make sure the actions happen afterwards.
And someone who, over time, understands the Director's priorities well enough to anticipate what will be needed next.
You'll be comfortable dealing with senior Directors, customers and major technology partners, while equally happy picking up the phone internally and chasing something that needs doing.
We want you to reach the point where you're regularly able to say:
"Already sorted – you've got everything you need and the actions are in hand."
