The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.
We’re recruiting a Junior BI Analyst to join a Data team in Central London.
This is a career with scope, and you must be confident using SQL and Python and able to explain your work clearly.
You’ll support reporting and dashboards, improve data quality, analyse metrics, deliver client insights, and help build modern BI capability.
Monday to Friday, onsite 5 days per week. After probation (typical): 3 days onsite / 2 days remote.
What you’ll be doing
* Writing SQL queries to analyse data, investigate issues and support reporting.
* Using Python for analysis, exploration, automation or problem-solving.
* Delivering reports, dashboards and decision-ready outputs.
* Checking data for accuracy, consistency and completeness.
* Investigating changes, anomalies and inconsistencies in key metrics.
* Supporting Power BI reporting and self-serve analytics.
* Asking clear questions, clarifying requirements and communicating findings properly.
You should apply only if you can clearly evidence:
* Strong SQL skills.
* Strong Python skills.
* Good Excel skills.
* A clear interest in BI, reporting, analytics and data quality.
* Around 1–2 years’ relevant experience, or strong practical experience gained through internships, placements, academic projects, portfolio work or self-directed learning.
* Motivation to learn, improve and progress.
* Clear communication skills.
* Ability to work onsite 5 days per week during probation.
Useful but not essential
* Power BI experience.
* Databricks or cloud data platform exposure.
* Experience in FinTech, retail, customer insight, client analytics or a people-facing business.
* Experimentation with AI tools.
