The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.
The Manufacturing Engineer will support production across multiple sites, working on system integration, new product introduction and resolving complex manufacturing challenges within a fast‑paced engineering environment.
The role will involve close collaboration with production and engineering teams to improve process efficiency, support automation systems and ensure reliable manufacturing performance across all stages of production.
The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for:
Supporting NPI activities including process setup, validation and manufacturing readiness.
Diagnosing and resolving production issues using PLC and automation expertise.
Supporting communication systems such as Node‑RED and MQTT.
Assisting with database and server integration within manufacturing environments.
Conducting PFMEA activities and implementing risk reduction actions.
Analysing cycle times and driving improvements in efficiency and reliability.
The Manufacturing Engineer will have:
Experience within manufacturing engineering or a similar engineering environment.
Strong PLC and automation experience (e.g. Siemens, Beckhoff, Allen‑Bradley)
Understanding of manufacturing communication systems and industrial integration technologies.
Experience supporting automated production equipment.
Knowledge of PFMEA, process development and cycle time analysis.
Ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings.
Strong problem‑solving and fault‑finding capability within production environments.
