Due to increased production demand, they are looking for a skilled and motivated engineer to join their maintenance team. Requirements as a Maintenance Electrician:
*
18th Edition Electrical Qualification is essential.
*
Proven electrical and mechanical maintenance experience within an industrial environment is essential.
*
Experience working with automation equipment and three-phase electrical system is essential.
*
Three-phase experience is essential.
*
Strong understanding of health and safety procedures and safe systems of work.
*
Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
*
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
*
Strong organisational and communication skills.
*
Self-motivated with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively.
Roles and responsibilities of a Maintenance Electrician:
*
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on a range of production equipment.
*
Provide maintenance support across electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
*
Diagnose faults and complete repairs to minimise production downtime.
*
Follow isolation, lock-off and site safety procedures at all times.
*
Complete maintenance documentation and maintenance records accurately.
*
Support continuous improvement activities to enhance efficiency, productivity and reliability.
*
Assist with maintenance projects and equipment upgrades.
*
Maintain excellent housekeeping standards and ensure compliance with all health and safety procedures.
*
Work closely with production teams to ensure equipment performance and reliability.
Location - Sussex area (commutable from Haywards Heath, Uckfield, Burgess Hill, East Grinstead, Lewes, Crawley, Horsham, Brighton, Hove, Newick, Crowborough, Heathfield and surrounding areas).
This position would suit a Maintenance Electrician, Electrical Maintenance Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Multi-Skilled Engineer, Shift Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, Maintenance Technician or Electrical Technician.
